"I can confidently recommend her as a wonderfully talented actress who brings an excellent balance of professionalism and good humor to any project.... Melinda has a wonderful sense of humor, great instincts, and makes interesting, thoughtful choices in her performances. When it comes to the work, Melinda gets it done with great focus and a smile. She comes prepared and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her." - Kelly Moore, Louisville, KY
“Melinda brought joy and discipline to her work.... She was assertive, thoughtful, creative, and respectful. She actively sought the ideas of others because she was truly interested.... As an actor, she is highly creative, playful, and serious about making theatre… She is gifted, deeply committed.”
“I found her to be profoundly professional in demeanor and well-trained for the difficult role she mastered (as every review can attest to). Melinda is a director’s dream -open, communicative, and she radiates honesty.... She would be a great asset to any professional production and I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
“The performances are marvels of insight.... Beck is innocent, but wily...”
"Beck is amazingly believable as the very-much-in-denial W; you just want to shake her at one point and tell her to snap out of her fantasy world." - Arts-Louisville
“Each actor was faced with a unique challenge: act without a face. Convey emotional turmoil and utter terror without being able to fully shed light on their facial disposition.… Beck reciprocates this pain with Sarah Johnson’s undying love and support. Sarah is willing to put everything on the line… in order to save the person she loves.”
